BIOGRAPHY

James Wilton is an award winning choreographer from Cornwall, UK. He has won awards at the Bern, Hannover and Masdanza Choreography Competitions as well as the Sadler's Wells Global Dance Contest. He has created works for Scottish Dance Theatre, Opera Graz, Konzert Theater Bern, Staatstheaters in Giessen, Hagen, Münster and Bruanschweig, as well as his own company which tours all over the world.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

​

A floor based class exploring moving with flow and athleticism. The work examines how to find the maximum reach within the kinesphere whilst simultaneously moving with power, athleticism and clarity.

 

The class draws influence from capoeira, acrobatics and yoga, starting from the floor and getting increasingly more physical throughout.
