VICTOR ROTTIER
BIOGRAPHY
​
After receiving his education from Artez university of the arts Arnhem, The Netherlands Victor was a full time ensemble dancer with Staatstheater Kassel and performed pieces from Johannes Wieland, Hofesh Shechter, Maxime Doyle, Tom Weinberger & Helder Seabra. Victor was working as Rehearsal director along side Johannes Wieland at Staatstheater Kassel until 2021.
In addition to performing and choreographing his own work Victor has been active as film maker and organises workshops for professional dancers & art institutions. He is a recurrent teacher at festivals for contemporary dance like b12 Berlin, Henny Jurriëns studio Amsterdam.
As a film maker he has been selected to show his film ‘Are as I’ at Lago film festival Italy 2021, Screen dance festival Freiburg 2021, Danceonscreen Graz 2021.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
​
I give you slam! a highly physically demanding, movement oriented workshop stuffed with set material, technical movements, text and improvisation.I focus on strengthening the individual while flocking and flying solo.Aiming to challenge you, the space and the group while pushing to gain clarity and precision. We will grind through the floor, cripple the space, sweat and trample on boundaries. Accompanied by handpicked and 100% organic tunes!
